Areas of therapy

There are many effective methods of treatment - but which is the right one for you? We will prepare an effective individually tailored treatment plan for you from a wide spectrum of possible treatments.

In their team meetings the doctors and therapists regularly check the treatment benefits, and add to or change things in order to make the best progress.

You actively work together with us to reach the goal of achieving, once again, physical and mental equilibrium. Relatives or those close to you can also play an important role in the treatment.

The therapists at the Kaiser-Karl-Klinik undergo continual professional development, and work using recognised methods, modern equipment and therapeutic aids.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a therapy using movement and special techniques.

The treatment is based on what the doctors have discovered, and on what they have prescribed. Depending on the type of illness, the aim is to achieve freedom from pain, the best possible mobility, control over movements and above all the ability to perform every day tasks again. This is achieved in individual or group sessions, and may sometimes take place in water.

Our qualified sports scientists work with you with the aim of building up a health orientated understanding of what you need physically. This is based on a diagnosis of your capabilities. Using sporting activities we work together in order to allow you in the future to resume work, everyday and sports activities.

The focal point of this is an exercise programme, always based on scientific data, in the following areas:

  • Exercises for heart and circulation
  • Local and peripheral stamina exercises
  • Medical exercise therapies and general building up of muscle
  • Co-ordination and balance training
  • Sport and general load bearing tests
